Like music, books are taking the fast track with digital delivery. During their second quarter of this year Amazon announced eBook sales outnumbered hard copy sales. Of course the price of an eBook is significantly less than that of its hard copy counterpart, but it’s telling of which route readers are taking to access new reads. Digital books aren’t intended to replace the traditional book, but make it a little easier for readers to have instant access, and promote the hard copy sale.  So why are so many of our customers choosing to distribute their eBooks on Dropcards? Here are a few reasons:
-    It’s easier to carry 100 Dropcards than 100 books. Authors need to network too, and what better way to promote your work than give people a digital preview of it so they purchase the hard copy.
-    A digital book doesn’t require space on the book shelf, just about 300KB’s on your computer, phone, or reader.
-    The files are delivered instantly and give readers an opportunity to contact you or learn more about your other books or publications from your landing page.
-    Digital books cut down on our environmental impact.
