Magazines and Music - Project Spotlight Our friends at Season Of Mist, an independent rock metal label based in France, are experts when it comes to promoting their bands.  The label has been widely respected as one of the top metal labels in the scene.   Recently, in anticipation of a newly anticipated album by their band SEPTICFLESH, Season Of Mist decided to give away an exclusive track from the band as well as other tracks by artists on the label. The delivery method was simply a Dropcard stuck into Hard Rock Magazine in France. Purchasers will receive free music and learn more about the label’s artists (most of which are spotlighted in the magazine).  The concept is simple and straight forward.  Promotions like these focus on the demographic most likely to reciprocate. Needless to say, we think this is great campaign concept.  The tentative release date for the album is March 7th, 2011.
